Union and intersection of sets
Lists of objects can be placed in sets. A set is a group of entities with one or more common characteristic. Entities can be referred to as members, elements, or objects. When sets are joined, some elements of a set may belong to both sets.
A Venn diagram can be drawn with the common elements in the middle. The common elements form a set, called the intersection of the sets.
