What subjects are covered?

Uzinggo offers math and science for middle school and high school that correlate to the subjects typically taught in grades 5-12, or that are appropriate for the ages 10-18. The subjects covered for each subject are as follows:


Middle School (Grades 6-8): Math Foundations, Pre-Algebra, Algebra Foundations

High School (Grades 9-12): Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2


Middle School (Grades 6-8): Life Science, Physical Science, Earth & Space Science

High School (Grades 9-12): Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth & Space Science

What is the purpose of the prep and review courses?

We've specially bundled our lessons into convenient packages to help your student either prepare and stay one step ahead for new upcoming classes, or to review important concepts in preparation for big tests. Both review and prep courses are also a great way to keep minds sharp over the summer or holiday break when school is out.

Does Uzinggo offer lesson plans?

Yes, our ZingPaths are our lesson plans. With over 250 ZingPaths, users can learn in-depth about topics ranging from the quadratic equation to electron configurations.

What is a ZingPath?

b. ZingPaths are a group of tutorials/lessons that are sequenced and bundled together to provide the best learning experience and coverage of a specific topic. Students can choose specific lesson to do within the ZingPath, or can complete the full ZingPath for the optimum learning experience. Learn more about ZingPaths here.

Can this program be used for my gifted student?

Yes, typically we recommend you purchase a plan that includes a few grade levels higher than where your gifted student is currently at. For example, if your child is in 4th grade we recommend he/she do 7th or 8th grade level lessons, whereas if you have a child in 8th grade we recommend he/she to do high school level (grades 9-12) material.

Can teachers use Uzinggo?

We recommend Uzinggo be for at-home use, whether it be for homework help, online tutoring or as a homeschool curriculum.

We do not recommend Uzinggo for classroom instruction. Please refer to our institutional program, Adaptive Curriculum, for school or district purchases. Both Adaptive Curriculum and Uzinggo utilize the same instructional content, but Adaptive Curriculum is teacher-driven, while Uzinggo is student-driven.

What is the difference between Uzinggo and Adaptive Curriculum? Which one is better suited for my needs?

If you are considering which of our programs, Uzinggo or Adaptive Curriculum, is right for you, consider these points to help guide your decision:

The difference between Adaptive Curriculum (AC) and Uzinggo is the lessons in AC are assigned by teachers, while with Uzinggo, the lessons (or ZingPaths as we call them) are assigned by the program. Uzinggo allows the student to search available content and complete the ZingPaths to gain a deep understanding of a specific topic.

Does a subscription include all of my children or do I need to purchase multiple subscriptions?

A subscription should be used for a single child/student in order to gain the full Uzinggo experience. Multiple active subscriptions can be purchased and monitored from a single parent account.

However, you can have multiple students use the same active account, using the same login for all your students. Going this route, the downside is that you will not be able to track individual student progress on an individual basis due to multiple students using one account.

What does my subscription include?

Each one of our subscription packages vary. You can purchase either grade levels (Middle School or High School) Math and Science in a combination pack, which we call the "Ultimate" packages, or buy math and science separately. Middle and High School subjects are sold in separate packages. You also have the option to purchase through a monthly or annual subscription, with monthly plans starting at just $9.95/month.

I'm a homeschool parent. How do I know which package to buy?

We recommend that you review our lesson's library to see what concepts are included within the middle school and high school packages. The subject matter is further broken down by courses (i.e. Geometry, Algebra, Biology, etc.).

After I've purchased Uzinggo for the first time, how do I add a child/student to my subscription?

When you log into Uzinggo for the first time, you will be guided through adding a student and assigning your subscription.

How do I add more students to my subscription?

To add additional students in Uzinggo, you will log into the Uzinggo system with your Parent account. Click "Manage my Subscription", and then select "Students". From this page, you have the ability to add as many students as you would like.

Once you have added a student you will want to assign a subscription. Please note that you can only assign an active subscription to one student at a time. To assign a subscription, you will select "Subscriptions", and then click "Details".

Is the month-to-month pay an automatic charge?

Yes, Uzinggo is a subscription service on a month-to-month or annual basis. Once you purchase your monthly subscription to Uzinggo, your card will be conveniently billed the low monthly fee for the exceptional educational service of Uzinggo.

I have a monthly subscription and would like to switch to yearly. Can I apply the payments I made toward the monthly subscription to a yearly subscription?

Unfortunately, Uzinggo does not offer a pro-rated purchase to an annual subscription. However, you may upgrade your monthly subscription, or you may cancel your monthly subscription and purchase an annual.

How do I cancel my subscription?

To cancel a subscription, please login to the parent My Account (note: this is different than your Uzinggo login). Once logged in, click on "My Account" in the top right-hand corner of the web page. Then click on 'Edit' under the Orders section. From this page, you will have the ability to cancel your subscription.

If I cancel my membership, will I receive a pro-rated credit or refund?

Although, we are sad to see you go, we will honor full refunds for annual subscriptions within 7 days of the purchase date. Please refer to the "How do I cancel?" FAQ above for directions on how to cancel, or please feel free to reach out to us.

For monthly subscription cancellations, simply cancel your subscription prior to the next billing statement.

Why as a parent do I have to create a separate account for my child?

Our system requires separate log in accounts for the parent and the student because each account has access to different content. The log-ins are unique by email address. The parent can see the student's progress and has access to the teacher copies (answer keys) to all the additional resources each activity has, which include teacher guides, activity sheets, and more.

What if my student doesn't have an email address?

Though we understand that your child might be too young to have an email address, our system requires the student to have one for log in purposes. If your student does not have an email address we recommend that you create one for them. This does not mean that you have to give your student access to that email address. It's just that the system requires two separate email addresses for logging in because the parent and student accounts view different content. Messages will be sent to the student email address for initial activation and student account set up.

How do I reset my student's password?

You may reset a student's password from the Uzinggo login page by simply clicking on "Forgot Password" link in the top right-hand corner of the page.

You may also reset your student's password by logging into your parent account. Select "Manage Your Student", click "Edit" next to your student's name, and then hit "Change Password".

What else do I need to run Uzinggo?

You need to have Adobe Flash installed as a browser plug-in. Many browsers already have it installed, but it's best to have the latest version of Adobe Flash installed to provide the optimum Uzinggo experience. Uzinggo requires Adobe Flash 9.0 or higher for the best user experience. Download the latest Adobe Flash Player version at

Does Uzinggo work on mobile devices?

Because Uzinggo utilizes Adobe Flash, mobile devices that do not support Flash, such as an iPad, will need to use an app called Puffin, a "Mobile Flash Browser" to support flash on these type of devices. Visit the Puffin Academy in the iTunes app store to download the app. Then select Uzinggo from the list of content providers within the app, and sign into your Uzinggo login account as usual.

Other devices that support Uzinggo are flash-compatible tablets, such as the Microsoft Surface tablet, and other mobile devices such as Dell, Asus, Microsoft and some tablets that run full Windows operating systems. Devices such as these and those that meet each of our technical requirements will be able to run the Uzinggo program.

Why is it when I am in Uzinggo that I can't use the back button in my web browser?

Uzinggo is built within a flash-based system which is different from most websites which are HTML-based. Once you have logged into Uzinggo the best way to navigate is through the icons at the top of the page rather than through the arrows on your web browser.
